Guest oursoul
One thing people might need to remember to do, is to disable FastDormancy by typing *#9900# into the dialer in order to reduce battery drain if their TelCo doesn't support the feature (most don't) My battery life has been awful recently, I just disabled this .. I don't know what it means but I hope it works.

Guest Gary Crutcher
KP8 / Android 4.0.3! http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ :o) Mikkle Yes. Thanks. I saw and have downloaded it. Problem is dsixda's kitchen is having problems deodexing the files. I need to figure out what the problem is first.
Guest Gary Crutcher
OK...it seems that KP8 needs a new version of baksmali / smali to deodex the rom. Will have to wait to until they are released.

Guest Gary Crutcher
played with kp8 this afternoon, found out that kp8 is not suitable for daily use. might wanna wait for final ICS release :) If and when I can deodex ICS I want to add the Extended Power Menu and scrollable Quick Panel. So, I will have to wait. Have not tried KP8 as I am very happy with DXKL3 right now.

Guest Gary Crutcher
XXKPA (4.0.3) announced on @SamFirmware ! :) Just saw the post...thanks for the heads up. Cannot customize it until the guys who wrote baksmali / smali fixed the dex header version number problem. Then I can deodex it and add customizations.
