Guest wasps
Hi, I have a HTC Desire running RCMix Rom. Last week, I replaced the standard 4GB sd card with a new 16gb class6 card. Since then, all my problems started. Initially, I had a number of problems with the phone not booting up properly... The S-OFF logo was displayed, and nothing happened. Further investigation showed that the sdcard was not being recognised. I ran 'fastboot oem enableqxdm 0' which sorted that out. The phone then started properly, and I had most of the functionality. I then found the instructions on resolving the USB brick @ http://android.modaco.com/topic/309939-usb-brickrickrolledb0rked-fixed/ So i re-ran the fastboot command and applied it via recovery. I then found that although most things worked, I couldn't make or receive voice calls as the phone signal would constantly cut off. I then found a more detailed post re: the USB brick, which contained another fastboot command. 'fastboot oem eraseconfig' Now, having done that, everything appears to work just fine. The only thing that is playing on my mind is that if I turn the phone off, (i.e. long press on power, and select shut down), and then restart the phone, I no longer see the S-OFF logo screen. However, if I remove and replace the battery, and then turn the phone on, I do see the S-OFF logo screen. This suggests to me that my phone isn't actually powering off properly. Does anyone know why this may be happening, and whether it is anything to be concerned about? Thank you
