Acer leaks some gorgeous tablet specs!

Acer seems to have learnt some tricks from HTC when it comes to free advertising. Another leak has found it's way out in the wild, and we're happy to announce that this is a real treat!

Just three days ago we gave you the news that Acer had let slip details of two new tablets. From a discovery made yesterday by HDblog it seems that they have two more to come! :D There are actually three UA XML profiles that have been discovered, but two are identical (the A701 and A702), from what we can see.

The devices are called the Acer A700 and A701/A702 and although details are thin, here are the key specs:

  • Tegra 3 chip
  • 1920x1200 display :o
  • Ice Cream Sandwich

Yes, you did read that right, a monster of a display resolution! We assume that the two different models are differentiated by an integrated 3G chip, as the A701 XML mentions about GSM and GPRS capabilities.
