Hello everyone!

I installed this wonderful ROM but I have a space problem!

I created the partition to ext4 link2sd and when I install new app I create the link. The problem is that for 10 app I find the internal memory is full (not the partition)

I also tried to move all the apps in sd (fat32) but the result does not change

Could you help me? Doing something wrong?

thanks

Are you using the "Create link" command or the "Move to SD" command? The correct one is the 1st, the 2nd choice is the same as moving apps by the application management menu under Settings

If you haven't done it you should change the options in links2sd to automatically "link installed programs to the SD". That way you won't have to keep linking the apps to the sd every time you install one.

But as Ivan69 has said, you are going to want to go though what you have installed and create links for them.

ICS Camera always FC when I select 'Switch to panorama'

Yeah that is a bug. ICS Camera is the only camera I found that could handle being the default. All the features like video recording and taking pictures works fine (and better then the default one) so decided to keep. Its only the panorama feature that doesn't work, and as the default camera didn't have this feature anyway you are not missing out on anything.

ICS Camera was chosen because it was the only free camera app that I found thats better then the default one that could do all the same tasks. All the other ones I tried just crashed when trying to open the camera though other apps (Contacts, Wallpapers etc.)

Try Miui camera. Can find the apk easily and it will handle being standard camera and IMO is the best right now.

I finally had V4a flashed and working.

But when I tried to use my Liquid as AP, my notebook could not find the device. ohmy.gif

I had to restore back to stock ROM to have Tethering working.

Anyone ever experienced the same issue?

Hi, everybody. I am new.

I just star using that rom, what I see is :

1) when I turn off phone to deep sleep and then I try to wake up phone its takes 5-10 sec to do it( slow response).

BUT If wifi is ON everything is ok.

Can you fix it, or tell me what to do :)

Thank you

Greg

All,

I just installed this wonderful rom doing a full wipe (also reformatting completely the sdcard).

Pressing the power button it hanged a little before turning on, but sometime, the screen remained black: that is, after I pressed the power button the phone vibrated, the soft buttons lighted but nothing else happened.

I decided to install over it the kernel 1.4c and, apart from the usual little delay on turning on, works well and doesn't hangs anymore.

Thank you for all! biggrin.gif

Hi all

I am using this room three days now, and I really like it, will sitck with it for some time.

I have only one question: how do I get an Acer music widget on a lock screen? I can add all stock widgets to lock screen except this one.

V4.1

  • Downgraded BusyBox so more scripts will work with it like AD2SDX. #Edit it didn't work. Best to download the older versions of the ROM if you want to use AD2SDX and follow the guide I did on how to downgrade BusyBox.
  • Updated GenieWidget to the same one used in ICS.
  • Updated all system apps to the latests version as of Apr 5th 2012.
  • Downgraded TechnoLover's Kernel to 1.3a as a few people where having issues with 1.4, plus I found that 1.4 had poor battery usage.
  • Upgraded Liquid MT Control to version 1.4

I wiped all before I flashed the 4.1 and everything has been running just like gem.

Hey pinguy, your rom is awesome! But, can you find a way to have ad2sdx on 4.1? in 4.0 blue ics i cant downgrade busybox to correct version to have ad2sdx script working. The only way is vanilla+techonolover 1.3+busybox downgraded?!?

Sorry, no it won't work with 4.1 but it does work with 4.0. Just download this and follow this guide. I have installed version 4.0 and ad2sdx a few times now and if you follow the guide to the letter it will work.

Is the vanilla version just the standard Android look? If so how do you get the slide across lock screen? I like the Acer pull down menu but want the slide to lock and turn silent lock screen.

Thanks.
