Things are so active around this forum that stuff gets too fragmented and makes it hard for noobs to find anything they want to know or download... Even I have to spend a fair few minutes just to find one thing I need to download or clarify or to remind me with something... BUT that's how forums are these days, moderators have enough on their plates with keeping the sites to forum rules and regulation standards...

If you don't have the time to a proper search then just leave to another day else just be patient with searching and you'll eventually find what you want...

2cents done! :P

Hi C3C0!

Here is my little story with your kernel for ICS.

I installed latest ICS 2012.04.07 from tillal!

1. boot with original pack.

2. boot with flashed gapps after open lot of app + setup google acc.

3. boot with flashed your kernel for ICS. ( all ok just Camera preview not )

4. boot with flashed camera patch ( Camera preview still not working, its just renamed camera.skate.so ? )

And now it looks very good. For me only issue the camera preview.

BT, WIFI, 2G/3G, HD games, etc works fine.

Thank you!

sry for my not so good english :)

Hi

There are some developments on this kernal mod, see the CM9 thread and the latest posts for details.

This is for CM9 users only I would guess, CM7 should be okay using the current kernal mod.

Hard to say since cfx is not my daily rom. ( I use SKatie). The best way would be to try yourself. You can make a backup in cwm before flashing so you will be able to revert back easily in case of problems.

Seems to all be working fine (barring usual problems), thanks :)

Am interested to see if I'll notice the battery improvements or not.

EDIT: Apologies for double post.

Links in the first post updated. Files moved to Google Drive.

Additionally, Kernel for CM9 ROMs has been updated to my latest one from my latest ColdfusionX build, 13/05/12

( no - the complete build has never been released so don't ask where to find it :D )
