Acer Liquid - MIUI 2.5.11 (ICS 4.0.4)

(Port from Google Nexus One to Acer Liquid by after_silence)

Working:

• - Radio;
  
• - Touchscreen;
  
• - Wifi;
  
• - MTP connection to PC;
  
• - Bluetooth;
  
• - Camera (only Photo);
  
• - Full HWA;
  
• - Deep Sleep;
  
• - New partition layout;
  
• - Tethering: (usb: fully working - wifi: please use some market app);
  
• - Built-in a2sd scripts.
  
  Not Working:
  • - Making Panorama;
    
  • - HW video decoding;
    
  • - May be some sensors (compass, may be not perfect prox-sensor);
    
  • - Mass Storage in Recovery (CWM limitation on MTP drivers);
    
  • - LED call notification.
    
    Problems/Bugs:
    • - Slow UI;
      
    • - opening Monitor app cause FC;
      
    • - Broken icon of USB Debugging while connecting to PC;
      
    • - FC with Music widget (not recommended to add it to homescreen);
      
    • - Sometimes reboots/hangs/FCs.
      

    How to Install:

    See instructions at Cm9 topic - everything the same.

    Download:

    [*]- CWM Recovery (fresh version with fixed boot pic);

    [*]- Rom for both LiquidA1/LiquidE (Sorry, but default language is Russian, but there are present also English and Chinese);

    [*]- Camcorder fix (need to flash via CWM as unsigned zip).

    [*]- Airplane mode fix + autobrightness (need to flash via CWM as unsigned zip).

Great work! I'm not installing ICS for now, too unstable, but it's nice to know that people are working behind the scenes to keep our beloved liquid up to date. You guys are awesome :)

Fix for reboot/freezing while going to Airplane Mode + fixed values of autobrightness: patch (flash as unsigned zip).

I think you can wait forever for all this fixes :D

Of course its support overclock/undervolt but you need to do it manually via scripts at system/etc/init.d/ or with liquid_next_parts (but with it settings will restart after reboot until you place one script). Soon there will be a solution.

It works with all video players in Software mode cause its not related to hardware decoding ;) .

I cant overclock my liquid with voltage control or init.d scripts. I got bootloops. Could u use undervolted kernel ? Or port those values to this kernel?

Don't start its stuck on boot

You need swap on Acer Liquid to get it working in case you dont have it. See other instructions at CM9 thread.

This version is 100% bootable and have everything working that states at OP :P

I think you should precise that's beta version and its not daily usable as CM9, you gain some time to answer.

Continue the real good work on ICS, even if i don't think we could have an ICS which is also smooth and usable as the GB version on A1, i deeply hope that i'm wrong ;)
