Activate auto brightness :

For use it you must check the auto birghtness param in display AND the luminosity filter in the CMmenu => display => autobrightness (first param)

Configure led.

Go to CMSetting menu, display, led notification

in app, no config choose message :

- led mode => app param

- led color => white

- save

in app no config choose call :

- led mode => app param

- led color => blue

- save

reboot

HOW TO INSTALL CWM Recovery [!!Read Carefully!!]

Can anybody post the NeoCore result of this ROM? I get 31.x fps on LiquidNext and only 26 on the previous CM7.2 so I'd like to know if gaming performance is improved on this new version :)

Thanks for keeping this Acer Liquid community alive :D

well for E no.

For A1, swap is not need but if you planned to use strong app better use swap :

an example temple run :

- without swap, run but sometimes fc,

- with, any problem

So swap recommend :)

Ok thanks, i have A1. What is the difference with CM7.2 RC1 or version of Honor? Why in this rom the swap is recommend, but in other cm7.2 not? For new partition layout and CWM recovery?

First difference : it's RC3 :P

second : it's build from scratch, no sanity need for prox sensor, much stable, really better battery drain.

Don't panic on the swap, it's recommend because in my use have better result with swap that with not. For the CM 7.2 RC1 have also need it for better and smooth use (even if it's not said)

If you never use it so you don't need it with this one.

But if you want to try CM9 one day, better made it now and be prepare ;)

difference from previous 7.2 honor cyanogenmod is that this is using new partition layout(introduced in 2.6.32 kernels) that it is fundamental for ginger and ice cream :) howewer....we need a 2.6.35-8 kernel to get a good ice cream porting. i have an idea to port this.....but unfortunately now i have exams at my university so i don't have time....but i want to try to do :)

youpi666, good work.

Have found two "bugs": reaaaaaly slow transitions in default launcher in Apps menu and blinking of black screen while unlocking device (right before appearing of Lockscreen) :-)

I have rolled back at ics - cant live w/o its UI and those new functions from both ics and cm9 ^_^

great job very awesone ROM.

It works fine for me but I have a litte problem: applications using the camera (Barcode Scanner for ex) freeze.

I pushed libcamera.so and liboemcamera.so into /system/lib (from LiquidNext) and it works fine now.

Great work!!

About adw lags... Not a rom problem or device fault, adw is just not a good luncher. Try another laucher like adw ex or launcherpro and you'll see the difference.

Thanks to report camera issue. I will try to find what is missing in our camera lib :)

PS: Many news are coming so stay tuned and don't give up your liquid :D

I noticed that zoom with CM7.2 libs is x8 (more than with LN)

The RC1 have a T9 dialer but this one doesn't. If I just press any 4-digits of the number I wanna dial, it just shows a message "Add to contact" while MIUI/CM9/CM7.2 RC1 show a list of all contact that have these 4 digits in their phone no. This is the first problem I found, is anyone meeting this issue ?

Then it's run a bit slower than CM9 I tried. Not sure if this is a known issue, but I revert back to CM9 B3 now. By the way, is there any alternative Messaging app that better than default CM Messaging ? Please dont tell me to use Go SMS or Handcent or Chome, I tried them all but they will never as good as MIUI or CM9 Messaging. If no, then I'm looking forward to seeing the new version of CM9.
