3 posts in this topic

To do list:

1.Use your Mind,Think before doing it,it is always a risk.

2.Do a Nandroid backup.

3.Remove the Service card/card,T-mobile ones have files on them so if you factory reset it cold Corrupt the Card.

4.Remove your SD card,if you wanna hold your pictures and media

That should be all.Remember if you brick it your mom will yell at you.Haha

1) Yes, obviously

2) Let's walk before we can run. Nandroid requires root. Aren't you gonna explain how to get rooted, install recovery, etc? AFAIK, you don't need to be rooted to do "Factory Reset" (but you do for nadroid / recovery).

3) Things stored on a sim will usually still be there, most contacts etc stored on google (android) anyways. Other operator stuff is junk.

4) Things stored on SD card will still be there, no need to remove.

5) You didn't actually say how to do this "Factory Reset" (clue: it's in "settings").
