Guest ltpitt Posted June 12, 2012 Report Share Posted June 12, 2012 My beloved friends, I'm very MIUIsh, lately. I'm very happy and everything was almost perfect so I thought to break it. I've read everywhere news about NOT installing techno's 1.4c kernel. So, unleashing my inner mad scientist, I installed it. * Pulling levers noises, cackling madly, explosions sounds * Everything went - I thought - perfect. My cpu and gpu overclock were there, I was happy. I saw the black screen bug (waking phone from sleep) and laughed in front of it: I can wait. Everything was a garden of flowers and I felt power and beauty in my hand at the same time. Then the day came: I needed tethering again. Despair, storm and disgrace fell on my sad head. NOT WORKING. Any hints? Tricks? Workarounds? Secret settings? 3rd part apps? That's the only step that keeps me away from Nirvana. Please, help. Please. I've installed plain MIUI 2.4.6 Then I've enabled A2SD+ to use my ext partition Then I've simply uset setcpu to overclock Now EVERTHING is working! I can't stop laughing hysterically! Its just, with your kernel I can't overclock to 1.6ghz or gpu overclock.
