Just try and install it, it fails. I haven't had the notification again. Hoping 4.2 comes soon

got the notification again last night.

If the tablet Ui is gone I'm not sure I want to upgrade. Is there any way to permanently block OTAs so I don't get the nag screen?

Any update here Paul?

I've seen some issues reported with the stock version, to do with Bluetooth etc. Perhaps that may be causing issues in the new modaco Rom?

Looking forward to the update.

Interesting to hear about instability on stock 4.2

I'm running stock on my nexus 4 and had a random reboot this morning.

Bluetooth is rock solid though compared to 4.1.1 on my galaxy nexus.

Jr9 test topic is here - http://www.modaco.com/topic/359304-jr9-mcr-temporary-test-topic/

:)

Final release tomorrow all being well!

Bluetooth working? Obviously it's on my GNex that it's an issue.

Just installed Jr9 no problems so far. Looking good. A nice tablet keyboard. Notification drop down will take some getting used to but I like it.

Superb job again, which reminds me... Must renew my subscription :-)

testing this patch for tablet UI at the moment.

issues:

The nav bar and softkey icons are the same height as in stock while the status bar stuff is tablet ui size

The quick settings menu is MIA

no epm (if it was in there :/ )

long lists of notifications disappear off the top of the screen and cant be dismissed

ah well... if its one or the other i can live without EPM..

going to flash a new bake with TabletUI zip baked in ...

doesn't take if you add it to the baked rom, have to flash later with CWM.

still breaks the EPM & Google Now. still worth it ;)

So far only had one random reboot while in Google Talk. Other than that, I have fond nothing wrong and love the small additions I always get from an MCR.

I know this is the N7 forum, but any chance we will be getting a Nexus 4 kitchen soon? You can tell me to go away but I am still gonna be curious :P

Just installed. All working well here. Thanks! Lock screen widgets look useful. Multiple user accounts should be handy too. I love Swype, but not convinced that style of keyboard will work well on a tablet. Will try it for a few days though.

Any idea whether photosphere can be enabled in the camera app (it says device isn't supported when I switch to photosphere mode)? I know it won't be ideal with only a front-facing camera, but I was hoping to be able to play around with it.
