Nokia Drive updated to version 3.0

1 post in this topic

Nokia Drive, Nokia's Windows Phone navigation software, has been updated to version 3.0. The upgrade from version 2.0 brings new features and can also make use of traffic data.

My Commute is a Nokia Drive 3.0 feature that learns from your driving preferences and collates them with traffic data to give you the most efficient and/or effective route to your destination.

Nokia Drive 3.0 also has an automatic day/night mode for the display, making for an overall more pleasant user experience. You can also now pin destinations to your homescreen as a tile.

Writing this article we noticed there is an issue with the Windows Phone Marketplace in the UK. While Nokia Drive updated to version 3.0 on our Nokia Lumia 710 and even offered us the chance to share the link to the Marketplace, the link only seems to open on Nokia Lumia phones, not on a standard web browser. Let us know if this is affecting you as well in the comments below.
