Nope! Decided not to bother tonight, Going to install this S3 themed rom, looks nice! I'm already on B926 Infusion so it should work haha

My mirror will be up in 3 minutes! :-)

If your on infusion you can try this I knocked together.

It will give you the Touchwiz Ux launcher

Calclator

Digital clock widget

Desk clock with world clock, stopwatch and timer.

Themed dialer

S3 icons for browser contacts, messaging and dialer.

S3 memo app and Apollo music player.

Will do the S3 theme from the rom and upload later.

For infusion rom only. Will also keep the notification toggles.

All installed OK from B940 via forced update (No IMEI reset required) - Just going through the set up at the moment.

Edit - All done. No Vodafone Bloatware on this ROM.

The notification toggles are not there, but power control toggles are (May have come through the flash, as my wallpaper is still there too!

Weather clock & All Back Up are there as well as the usual (Gmail, Play Store, Sound recorder etc. No Google Play music app though.

Early days but it feels pretty smooth and responsive.

Baseband is 2030. Kernel is 3.0.8-perf... etc

Storage is defaulted to internal.

Anyone know which vendor app could be flashed here to restore the notification toggles? - B892??

Sounds interesting, so is this just a zip install from CWM without any wipes?

have you tried installing the middle package first then update to this?

Yeah I gave that a go but that's never worked for me. My phone just doesn't seem to like these updates.

What rom are you on

I'm currently on B940 (B926 baseband) but I seem to have the same thing whatever ROM I'm coming from. My phone just has to have the IMEI zeroed for some reason. No idea what's different about mine. I've even tried with the SIM card out.

i reverted to b926 via dload then tried EEY from phone settings. It failed. Then I tried a forced update which also failed with

filename = /mmc1/dload/update.app

call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST

CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xd2000000, len_tmp=0x6000

filename = /mmc1/dload/update.app

call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST

CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xd2000000, len_tmp=0x6000

Just about to try EFA .... and it failed too on sd or internal with

filename = /sdcard/dload/update.app

call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST

CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xd2000000, len_tmp=0x6000

Trying middle file...which fails with

filename = /sdcard/dload/update.app

call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST

CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xd2000000, len_tmp=0x6000

filename = /sdcard/dload/update.app

call RCV_MODULE_END_EVENT failed,module = OEMSBL_VER_LIST

CMD=0xf,moduleaddr = 0xe9000000, len_tmp=0x19

Next steps, try a different base rom then try with stock recovery installed.
