thanks for the tip Itpitt it solved my wake up problem ;)

I am glad to read that mate!

The more you move apps to SD the more it becomes... sleepy anyway :)

After some days of testing I have to say that I am very happy with Lewa! :D

It's light, its menu are clever and fast, the added apps (power+ is great) take care of a lot of cool tasks (data monitor, block settings...)

The launcher is a little weak but that's where holo launcher kicks in (beautiful to look at, light and gentle on my battery - imho better than go launcher).

In the end everything is perfectly working for now I have just a few problems and few glitches:

1) bluetooth not working - common CM7 problem on our device (I miss handsfree in my car but I can live anyway)

2) music application dies all the time (none cares: a LOT of great music apps out there)

3) google search widget keeps on asking at every reboot if he's allowed to find your location. weird and a little pesky.

4) ...

There's no 4!

:D

I strongly suggest to use link2sd instead of a2sdx or similar so you get accurate control on the apps you move.

If you keep all the "core" apps in the phone memory and move just behemots like facebook the phone stays young and snappy.

Setcpu is your friend, anyway.

Very, very pleasant experience: thanks again to the lewa os porter and to lens, davide and technolover.

I think is cm based but I don't know it for sure.

You can enter in Google only after enabling background sync (in sync and accounts if I remember right): I had the same problem.

Hi to all italian friends...

I've found a tool of collaborative translation online (with a very big translation memory).

Afair there's the chance to use it for free if you translate open source projects (is lewa os open source?) otherwise we have 10 days to do the job.

If someone is willing to help:

Hello Diehard,

I dont get any errors, he dont use my sd card for expanding Mb's.

I format my sd card alover again, and make a new ext2 format.

Do a wipe data & factory reset + wipe cache.

then i installed the software, in recovery mode.

The only thing that may be wrong, is the version cwm, because i use cwm 4.0.0.8.

Or do i have to install ads2dx separately.

Regards,

Doser.

Hello,

I installed Lewa again.

I first format the ext4, primary, cluster size 4kb, label ext4.

Then i did a wipe data & factory reset + wipe cache.

Then i reboot the phone in cwm 5.5 and installed the

TechnoLover-Kernel then i boot up, and back to recovery

and flash Lewa, and reboot 2 times, but my internal phone storage is 162 MB??

I can login with my google account

When i look in CMW manager on the phone it says:

This version of CWM Manager should be used with CF-root v5.0 or newer.

It appears you are runing adifferent kernel.

Various featers have been disabled

What can i do about that??

How can i flash the right kernel?

I think you should simply wipe all, flash lewa, flash a2sdx, reboot.

If I remember right techno's kernel is included in lewa.

AFAIK you won't find other kernels for our device.

Hello Diehard,

I see that you write "flash lewa, flash a2sdx" i firts flash a2sdx and then lewa.

Can this be the problem??

I will give it a try, but i already flashed the software 3 times, and it stays the same, 162 mb internal storage, and he is not using the sd for storage.

You write just simple whipe all, but isn't it so that when i do a wipe data & factory reset + wipe cache, i then whipe all??

Regards, Doser.

So here's what I did just 5 minutes ago, tested and perfectly working:

a) Boot Recovery

b ) wipe data/factory reset

c) wipe cache partition

d) install zip from sdcard --> install lewa os

e) reboot

f) check free space in application manager

g) reboot in recovery

h) install zip from sdcard ---> install a2sdx from technolover

i) reboot

j) check free space again

k) be happy

If it's not working this way the problem is related to your sd's partitioning.

I can confirm, anyway, that techno's kernel is included in Lewa so there is no need to flash it.

You can switch to battery with numbers from ROMs menu.

I do not have the error with contacts...

Try to wipe all and reflash.

Aspetto ormai la pach per l'italiano e poi se il caso reinstallo tutto..Provato il bluthoot in auto?

Now look the pach for Italian and then if the case reinstall everything .. Tried the bluthoot in the car?
