Guest punjuk12
hey now we have ICS can we get google now? It was ported over to 4.0 by Xda but I'm wondering if it will work on our x86 processors? https://www.xda-developers.com/android/google-now-with-voice-search-finally-working-on-ics/

Guest
Hmmmm not to sure, seems a lot of hastle, even have to replace gmail with a modded one. No problem if we have clockworkmod to fall on, but messing about to much in system with no clockworkmod makes me just a little too nervous to try. And we know the system does not like to be messed with by how it responds when rooting, the flashing screen!
Guest
After reading the thread a little it looks like gmail needs replacing in system with modded one for G-now to work with gmail, and the G-now app called velvet.apk is seen as voice search so that needs overwritting too! Could get messy, what with no clockworkmod to run to, think I will leave this alone. Not a good idea to start messing with system for the same reasons it is a bad idea to uninstall system apps with no CWM ;) I am real stupid when it comes to doing stupid things, but someone more stupid/brave can try this
