A simple small app that will let you enable or disable fast dormancy.

Battery life is better for me when disable.

-You must have root

-Tested on JB only

-FD will be enable again after a reboot

post-644887-0-78078800-1357235902_thumb.

APK in the zip file

If you try please report here your results about battery life.

If you want a good app to monitor battery usage in both case, i suggest this one :

http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1179809

If you want to do it manually :

To enable : echo 2 > /sys/power/fast_dormancy

To disable : echo 0 > /sys/power/fast_dormancy

v1.1 :

--Fix FC when fast_dormancy entry may not have good rights setted.

Still FC :/

http://pastebin.com/UQ48ZfDN

Tried with yor kernel and still FC

Don't know if it's important but I'm using supersu instead of superuser

Tried with adb and got this

root@android:/ # echo 0 >/sys/power/fast_formancy

sh: can't create /sys/power/fast_formancy: No such file or directory

You must type

echo 0 > /sys/power/fast_dormancy

or

echo 2 > /sys/power/fast_dormancy

Typo mistake when writing OP.

Looking at the FC.

Edit : Are you sure that you update to 1.1 ? cause downloads count is still at 0.

Thanks Vache!

It would be a good idea to list the effect by operator. I'll try on my side to see the result.
