Playing around with my OSD and found this -- So what do these settings mean?

First image Under apps> Does that mean all apps are permanently cut off? and shut after i finish? or is activity something completly different ?

and second image i took after click background process limit - is it ok? to fiddle around with these? has anyone tried it? since i was wondering, if you enable lets say atleast 4 processes, wouldthat help to automatically cut of background running apps?

Thank You

The first screenshot, it says what all the settings do really. I doubt you will use them anyway. And the second, it means that it will stop apps running in the background and you choose how many you want to keep at any given time.I would stick with the standard because we have 1gb of ram which is loads. You would only use this option if you had 256mb or less of ram.

Those settings are best left alone really, more developer tools than anything. Background proccess limit should be left too, if you set it low, you will find apps closing alot, whereas it is better when they are left in memory for faster app switching, android is very efficient at handling memory which is why task killers are pointless.
