Hello

I accidently set the cpu frequency of my rom CM7.2 to 998MHz

and now it boot loops.

I can boot it to lockscreen and home screen.

But whenever i go to Settings - Cyanogenmod Settings - Performance it Reboots & again loops

Is there any way to set the cpu speed in system files, so i can set them and boot the phone, i really don't want to reset or restore any backups.

I tried checking these files

/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_cur_freq

/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq

but they had 768000

so i am stuck.

While the phone is booting you should be already able to use ADB and pull files.

Pull:

/data/data/com.cyanogenmod.cmparts/shared_prefs/com.cyanogenmod.cmparts_preferences.xml

To your hard disk and open in a text editor. You should see a line about cpu frequency, remove it to restore defaults (or change it to a stable value)

Now push back the file, overwriting the existing one.

Hope it helped.
