Does your IMEI number start with 0132220000***** ???

i have a strange feeling that most orange san diego's start with the same numbers 0132220000*****

this is what they use to unlock the device, so if we can work out the algorithm of the last 5 numbers then we may unlock the device.

just a thought ;-)

It's Orange we're talking about, nothing they do surprises me anymore (having been a customer sporadically over the last 20 years).

So in theory it should not be so hard as it only 5 digits and not the entire IME ?

That's 6 digits not 5, although the 6th digit may be either a 0 or a 1. That just reflects the lack of sales I suppose.
