I tried it with spectrum method, on two computers, one running XP SP3 and the other one is Win7 64bit. I installed lastest drivers for my mobile phone, enabled USB debugging, turned off my Avast. I opened run.bat and it didn't work. [*] Exploit complete! [*] Press any key to exit. Press any key to continue . . . I saw that you can root it with SuperOneClick. I downloaded it (2.3.3), but I'm not sure if I used it correctly. I connected my device, USB debugging on, sd card unmounted, and I opened SOC but it didn't detect my phone. Nothing was shown. I was told that I have to pick RageAgainstTheCage method, but I'm only offered psneuter and zergRush. That is also offered on 1.7 version of SOC with RageATC. What am I doing wrong? Here are the details of the device: Android version: 2.3.6 Baseband version: MSM7225A-1-AA Kernel version: 2.6.38.6-perf Build number: GRK39F Software version: V10g-OCT-31-2012 If anyone can offer me a solution, please do, I'd be very thankful. Edit: I managed to root it succesfully with 1.7 SuperOneClick. It must have been bad dowload so It didn't show RATC method.
