Reminder: Selling items on the forum directly is not allowed   07/30/15

Please note that selling items on the forum directly is not allowed by the forum rules. There is a forum for eBay auctions whereby you can list the items on eBay and link to them there. This is the ONLY forum for this type of activity. You may also advertise links to the eBay forum in your signature. Please note that selling directly in contravention of these rules will result in a warning / suspension / ban.

Broken screen

2 posts in this topic

Hi everybody,

I have been an idiot and dropped my San Diego.

Good news - it still works.

Bad news - the screen is cracked beyond belief.

I have searched everywhere I can think of and I cannot find anywhere that can/would repair it.

I cannot even find anywhere that would sell the screen so I could attempt a repair myself.

Can't even find a post of someone doing the same thing on any of the forums I have found.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Presuming you're in the UK then I think only Orange would be able to repair it as they sold so few of them. Of course it wouldn't be cheap so ask first, it may be that it'll be cheaper to replace the phone than repair it.

You could also check the likes of ebay for one being sold for spares and attempt it yourself, I don't know how easy that would be mind.

Edit :- just had a quick look on ebay and the cheapest(auction with 2 days to go) currently stands at £62.

Edit 2(lol) :- there's a couple on gumtree at £55 & £65, http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/orange-san-diego-16-gb-black-orange-smartphone/1030085066 & http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/orange-san-diego-eeorange-intel-android-powerfull-17ghz-8mp-working-condition-boxed-65-offers/1029875774
