Why i have error Status 1 if i install full google package with google apps? What i do wrong? Installation is aborted.

Phone is rooted, bootloader installed, cyanogen mod installed too and work fine, but i cant install google apps from packages.

Google Packages installer here is wrong. They dont work for me. I search in google for another packages and they work good.

I think PA_Gapps is bad.

Can't flash full gapps on this phone. /system is too small.

Turn phone on/off between steps makes no sense.

I've made modded GApps for G300 for over a year and written the guide wbrambley linked.

I'm sure it works.

Can you post or upload somewhere your pa_gapps_log.txt?

Also what recovery version do you use?

The log shows that you have tried to install a GApps package that haven't checked the free space before installation. And you haven't formatted the /system partition before installing CM11, delete and gapps package.

Formatting system partition is highly recommended if you have tried other gapps before.

Also, you tried to install nano package.

Only pico (non uni) Gapps works.

Anyway, happy use of CM11. :)

He :) All works good.

Installed main Cyanomod 11 (4.4.4) from here and Pico PA Gapps too. Thats what you say only Pico Gapps work for this phone.

After it remove few rooted apps by using ES file Explorer, and install apps from Google Play store.

Now have almost all aps who is in your packages full /micro and much more, and i can unistall it if i dont want it :)

Cyanogen with all aps what i have now works better than my older room 4.0.3 (dont know name).

Thanks

BTW... How to install any radio for G300?

BTW2...why apps disappear from the android desktop after phone turn off or restart? PLEASE HELP

Problem solved. Replace launcher from cyanogen and install buzz launcher and all works good. Great!

I got the March, Friday 13th, CM11 build, my fist CM ever :-) !

My question is: What I have to do to have the snooze option on google calendar events?

I successfully installed this on a G300. However, I'm having a problem with unlocking the phone: I place a SIM from a locked operator on the phone, input the 4-digit simcard PIN and after that I am not prompted with a dialog to input the unlock code I bought. Instead, I just go to the normal KK "desktop" but get no network service. How can I input the unlock code?

I have a vague recollection that you can only unlock the phone on a stock ROM?

It really depends on whether the functionality was injected into the ROM, some CM roms for, say, a SII now have the functionality after the makers were told, but I don't think it's possible on the U8815. If you had a nandroid backup, just revert to that, take off SIM lock or just head over to the Huawei site and reinstall international 4.0.3 ICS and then remove SIM lock.

EDIT: Didn't really read your post very well, I'm not really familiar with how the actual process would be done of unlocking unless you actually have an already locked phone, remove the locked SIM and then input the code.

Hey guys, I need your help, when making a call on this rom the screen goes black and it just freezes, sometimes it actually connects but unless the other person disconnects the screen stays black. Is there a way to resolve this, if so could you be so kind to explain in detail and with links if needed? It has been long since I was into the development for this phone and dont have the time to re-invent the weel.

How recently did this happen after upgrading to CM11, and have you rebooted since? It seems other people have been unable to place calls until a clean reinstall - but try rebooting first.

Can't install apps, parse error, what's that about?

If you install apps through pc to phone via a USB cable, the app signature normally breaks. Probably not the right topic to post this in. Also, it could be the result of a broken app or the MD5/Sha-* value being incorrect.

EDIT: Try install through the Android Debug Bridge using shell push.

Not many people follow G300 stuff here any more as far as I know.

Usually a good way to recover a "bricked/bootlooped" G300 is to force update to a stock ROM - e.g. B952.

See here for example:

http://www.modaco.com/topic/362821-tutorial-how-to-officially-unlock-the-bootloader-with-definitions-relock-guide-included/#entry2128104

In some cases this may not work and you may need to look at using one of the several "middle packages" to get it to work.

If you need one of these then you'll have to search/trawl the forums for the right one as it's not always clear which one to use in which circumstances.

Hope this helps

Try wiping the Cache/Dalvik Cache?

Your phone is probably trying to boot off the cache from the old ROM.

Failing that, perform a factory reset (wipe Data, wipe Cache, wipe Dalvik cache, maybe even Internal Storage if it comes to it.)

If that doesn't work, just tell us the steps you did exactly.

Hello Dazzozo - it seems all Androids have big problem with vulnerable Stagefright library (it manipulates with MMS contents) Some announcement is here Stagefright bug

I'm not developer so don't know if that library is part of CM or Gapps but my question is. If it's part of CM - do you plan to use patched version of this library?

Thank you for this great work. I'm going to test CM11 later today.
