This (7.9) is working great for me so far. :-)

just installed v 7.9 :)

quite fast and stable, i'm surprised!

only thing i don't like is white dialer; i really prefer black!

also, sometimes dialer desn't show numeric keypad :(

does anybody know why and how to fix it? (screen below)

just press volume down + power button.

you could also add "screenshot" entry in poweroff menu - very convenient ;)

2 questions:

1. My lock screen doesn't display temperature. Instead it just says "--" and when I tap on that, it leads to a google search for "weather".

How to make this work?

2. I use a VPN to connect to internet. It works fine, except that I have to go to settings and connect to the VPN every time I enter my flat.

I would like to make it automatic, and I see there is an option in VPN settings, called "Always-on VPN". However, when I tap on it, my VPN is not listed. Only "None" is available.

For first question you need to activate location in settings, or while you on lock screen, pull down widget to expand it, press settings near clock, press on 3 dots on weather and set your location. Then you dont need location activated in settings.

For second question, i dont know, becuase i dont use VPN. But maybe after you add new network, try to restart phone.

Volume down + power button doesn't work for me.

I'll try your suggestion.

you have to unlock bootloader and flash twrp recovery first ;)

edit: remember to install the latest twrp version or you'll encounter issues

Me too! I had this issue since first Slimkat rom for Y300.

were you able to bypass this problem in any way? such as installing a new dialer or whatever?

No :-/

I've flashed now synapsis kernel. Maybe it fixes the problem.

E: I think I`ve got the RILJ bug, but I dont have Google maps because of nano gapps...

E2: I installed BBS, maybe it gives me some more information about the battery drain on mobile data.
