      Reminder - MoDaCo position on illegal content   07/30/15

      ILLEGAL CONTENT I'd like to just reaffirm MoDaCo's position regarding piracy and illegal content in the light of some recent questions / postings. Posts will be censored by myself or my moderation team if the contain or link to: Illegal / pirated / cracked software or sites that host such software Nintendo emulators / ROMs or sites hosting them (in light of Nintendo's legal stance) CUSTOM ROMS You may discuss and post links to custom device ROMs on MoDaCo, provided the following rules are adhered to: ROMs must not contain any illegal 3rd party software (this includes trial versions included without permission) ROMs must give full credit to the original author ISSUES If you have any issues with this policy, please contact PaulOBrien directly via PM.

TVPlayer brings UK TV directly to your tablet & smartphone

Android tablet owners can now view live TV legally thanks to an update from TVPlayer. The app allows users to view the 5 main UK channels as well as 20 additional digital channels directly on your tablet or smartphone device.

Adam Smith, the founder and CEO of the Simplestream Group which produces the TVPlayer app said

We are delighted to have achieved 250,000 downloads in the first few weeks and it is really exciting for us.

TVPlayer enjoys excellent relationships with our channel partners who have all shown great forward thinking in embracing the internet and mobile as a new delivery platform for linear TV. We look forward to working closely with them all to ensure TVPlayer is a success for everyone involved.
