Acer Incoming Call / Dialer replacer.

Recommended Posts

Is it possible to replace the incoming call application from stock ROM with the one from stock Android/CyanogenMod? Flashable zip? .apk replacement?

i asked this a while ago. someone said you need a deodexed rom(don't know what that means). i'm also looking forward to this mod, it would be a nice replacement for our ugly dial screen.
off: how is the 4.2/kitkat work going on, spacecaker? are those video drivers helping the progress?

As far as I know, not even the kernel from MSR ROM that's based on android 4.1.2 is fully compatible... I don't even hope for newer versions of Android... Edited by execpwd

As far as I know, one friend of mine is still trying to compile/recompile/decompile/update the kernel with other device's drivers merged with acer's drivers - he's been trying for almost one month to boot it up, and now that he has changed his phone, he has more time to do it on his Acer. I still think we need someone that is closer to Android / Kernel functions ..
