Guest SaurabhRCk
well I guess its a great news for Ascend G510 users that MIUI russia is supporting this handset (u8951) officially with latest updates! The rom is compiled by "Seventh" who is a great developer who helped building Lewa OS, Mokee OS (Android 4.3.1 based) and now this MIUI v5 (Android 4.1.2) based. Anyway Here is the official forum link. I hope it will work on y300 too. Though i have not tested it yet. I am planning to test if tonight. if anyone tried it, Give feedback. and also Keep checking the following link for upcoming updates! http://miui.su/firmware_manager/model_view/253/
Guest commandline1984
This is only for the G510-0010. The ROM is incompatible with the G510-0100 and G510-0200! Just saying ;) The 0010 got a mediatek CPU and the 0100/0200/Y300 got a qualcom CPU. Edited February 2, 2014 by commandline1984

Guest SaurabhRCk
Well I have disagree with you. According to the spec U8951D i,e G510-0010 has the same msm8225 CPU as y300 or G510. Also I checked the build prop of the rom, it says qcom hardware! Soo..http://www.etotalk.com/huawei-u8951d-g5100010-android-41-dual-core-12ghz-dual-sim-45-inch-poweroff-alarm_p3566.html The spcs in this site is true for g510. Upper scs are g510-0010 written on the back of the battery pic! Edited February 2, 2014 by SaurabhRCk

Guest SaurabhRCk
any luck? ya, I tried it! Works great. But it uses chinese baseband. best thing to do is to use the miui built by tiri at the htcmania. he uses eu baseband, rest is same.
