Guest jy95 Posted July 17, 2014 Report Share Posted July 17, 2014 Hello everybody, I would like to upgrade my acer S500 (official 4.1.2) on Midnight-Rom (http://www.modaco.com/topic/371346-rom-midnight-rom-v1-stock-based2014-03-30/). I have used Acer Tool S500 RO 0.4 (http://www.modaco.com/topic/371346-rom-midnight-rom-v1-stock-based2014-03-30/) . When I boot my mobile phone , I got this error : boot image verified failed Do you have a solution ? And for the warranty part i read some comments on this forum of people that sent their phone for repair with custom rom and recovery and acer just repaired it. So i don't think that's a big problem. If you have tampared device, it's imposibile tu flash boot.img via tool/fastboot. There are two other method. -Via some flash kernel app from playstore. -second(I use this method): creating an archive, and install it using CWM/TWRP.
