Moto G Simlock problem

 Hey gang, 

 

 Recently I updated to GPE Lolipop from another rom that I can't really remember installing. I have also recently signed up with another operator and after trying to pop in the sim, I get asked for a Sim Lock code. 

 

Here is where I'm confused - I have previously unlocked the phone from Tesco Mobile on my other ROM and wondered if this was happening because of the Lollipop update. Surely can't be network unlocked twice can it?

 

Or... On the other hand, is it possible that I've set up Simlock on the phone on my previous install and Motorola/Google have backed this up and carried it over to my Lollipop install?

 

So confused right now.
