Respected font of travel knowledge 'Lonely Planet' has launched a range of new City Guides for Android, downloadable for free from the Play Store. Designed for offline use to save your roaming charges and curated by writers who live and breathe your city destination, the guides cover over 35 cities around the world with more to follow soon.

After signing up / signing in with your Facebook, Google, Twitter account or good old fashioned email address, you will be presented with a list of available cities. Clicking on a city gives you the option to download the guide locally - important if you are travelling abroad! The guides really are a mine of useful information for travellers and at the bargain price of FREE, well worth downloading.
