Guest mpore14
Need immediate help! I have Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 New Zealand, I am trying to use Spark NZ sim but it's saying "No Service - Emergency Calls only" It does detect the sim card but it does not have any signal. I tried purchasing unlock code from ebay but the phone is not asking for any codes. What I tried so far: Used three different Spark sim card from my other family members. (same result) Rebooting device. Adding tape at the back of the sim. Going outside to get some sort of signal even though all my family members are getting Spark Signal on their phones. *edit Edited April 30, 2016 by mpore14
Guest wbrambley
I don't think it's compatible, telecom uses 850 and 2100 for 3g. VF SU6 has 850 band listed for 2g use. You may be able to get 4g in central Auckland.
Guest wbrambley
Try a 2degrees card, that should tell you if it's network locked or not.
