I'm sure many of you have heard about or used Monolithix's SPV channel.

We used to get around 10-15 users in the channel each night, and this suddenly dropped to 5 earlier in the week, of which three of us are clones ;)

For anyone who's tried to get in, the DNS for Xnet.org seems to be messed up - so it's not possible to connect to irc.xnet.org. For now, neon.hamlesh.com is the solution.

For those of you who haven't tried the channel, get your arse down there!

Hopefully we can pickup the lost users quickly :)

I have popped in the past, and wanted to join #spv some more - however recently when trying to connect to *any* xnet server, after ident checking I get the following:

Closing Link: Bagpuss[[email protected]] (Bad user info)

I have tried using different clients and different idents and nothing seems to work, so the only possible thing I can think of is that my IP has been banned - strange considering that I've only been on the server once and didn't upset anyone :) I would try contacting the ircops, but obviously that's difficult when you can't get onto the server in the first place and www.xnet.org is down :?
