Software from Handango available now

Just downloaded "Interstellar Flames" and "Slurp" from Handango.

Links from msmobiles.com seem to work. Only for full versions though (apart from tennis).

Both installed no problems, so must be certified versions.

Verdict, well, the're not amazing. ISF is a bit on the slow side, but hey it is only a phone.

Yep, ditto.

ISF is pretty average, slurp is fun, Tennis Addict is my favourite!

Well after much searching (they dont make it easy do they) I now have Slurp, Tennis (yes i can see myself gettin addicted to that one) and Casino. Thought I'd leave Interstella flames till i see some more reviews on it. Now I'm shopping for a bigger SD card in anticipation of Hexaco's (supposed) releases next week :D Do you think we'll see some usefull applications (i mean appart from games) being released for the spv in the near future?? Here's hoping..

Well I emailed Whittaker Moore who do sw for pocketpc's and they said they're planning to release a version of the MyDash_Month module for the smartphone soon. It's a much better way to view the std calendar - see http://www.pocketfillers.com/ for info

Before I buy, can I check with someone who has bought one of these.

Do they download as a cab file which I can then install at my leisure?

If I remove it from the phone, can I re-install at any time?

Is the registration per phone? i.e. are they locked to the IMEI number or similar, so if I have to get a replacement handset, can I still re-install my cab to the new phone?

Ta.

Ralph.

Hi,

I downloaded Interstallar Flames with absolutley no probs, surprising for me :(

After completing the payment ( :( ) details a window came up for download. Simply saved to a folder on me harddrive.

Then docked the phone, synced it just to get any potential probs over and done with, then double clicked on the file on the hard drive, which ran an install programme.

This installed the cab file straight on the phone and the SPV then automatically installed the game.

I loaded it onto me MMC card, 32MB. Had probs at first controls were not responsive, no sound, but went into options and changed a few things now it runs very well. A good game for showing of the graphics, but I got bored pretty quick.

I guess I'll get the Tennis game, after next payday.

The file isn't huge less than 1 MB, but with me MP3s, games, photos and other stuff, a 32MB card just ain't gonna be big enough.

Santa, please........ :D

Cheers, Shire
