Well i've now had my spv for 2 days and ive discovered that contrary to what ive read on the orange / microsoft sites that it :

1/ can only handle 1 email account

2/ cannot be configured for aol instant messaging

3/ only comes with a usb cradle - i only have serial

4/ is a mystery to most orange staff when it comes to setup

5/ has bugger all games / software available for it

Appart from that i'm very pleased with it.. for the money i think its quite a nifty little phone although not a patch on my old 9210 in many respects. I only hope that orange and m/s can get their thumbs out of where the sun dont shine soon and resolve many of the problems ive been reading about here... i bet the symbian folks are having a right good laugh at us 'suckers' at the moment.

Great site by the way Paul, keep up the good work.. :D

Thanks SPVman

Yep, this sucks. Hope MS fix it!

2/ cannot be configured for aol instant messaging

Well, i'm not sure anyone ever said you would be able to use AIM. I would be suprised if someone didn't release a multi format messenger for SP2002 tho (subject to software certification problems etc!).

3/ only comes with a usb cradle - i only have serial
You are in the minority I'm afraid. Treat yourself to a £10 USB PCI card!

4/ is a mystery to most orange staff when it comes to setup

Yep. Altho, there is a dedicated SPV support team. Ask for them!

5/ has bugger all games / software available for it icon_rolleyes.gif

It is early days! Having said that tho, I have the following additional software installed on mine already (full versions):

Slurp

Tennis Addict

Casino

Interstellar Flames

ListPro

GPRS Counter

Dockware Pro

Not too bad for a PHONE that has only been out just over a week!

That's how you install them!

I think this is called software piracy!

Amazing!
