Please can some one post the 100% working settings for Orange Pay as you go Orange UK settings Settings for GPRS web. (Internet) Description: Orange GPRS Connects to: The Internet Access point: orangeinternet User name: (blank) Password: (blank) Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0 Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0 IP address: (blank) Orange WAP proxy settings. Connects from: The Internet Connects to: WAP network Proxy (name:port): 192.168.71.35 Type: WAP Username: blank Password: blank Settings for WAP over GPRS. Edit GPRS connections/Orange WAP Connects to: The Internet Access point: orangewap User name: (blank) Password: (blank) Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0 Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0 IP address: (blank) Settings for WAP over GSM Edit Dial up Connections/Orange CSD WAP Connects to: The Internet Country code: 44 Dialling code: 7973 Phone number: 100500 Username: Orange (note uppper and lower case) Password: Multimedia (note upper and lower case) Domain: (blank) In data connections Internet connection: Orange GPRS WAP connection: Orange WAP (allocate WAP over GPRS) or WAP connection: Orange CSD WAP (allocate WAP over GSM) In IE connections tick 'Automatically detect settings' In IE, I can connect to WAP sites successfully by either GSM or GPRS connections. Note: Orange homesite for SPV is wsp://orange.multimedia/ (not http:) Orange PAYG has different APN's for GPRS. Orange GPRS APN=payginternet Orange WAP APN=paygwap. As long as you have the big centre G, it should be ready to go. Goto Articles - Repository page2 and have a look at the the Orange UK settings. Remember to change the Access Point Names to reflect PAYG. Orange GPRS: APN=payginternet Orange WAP: APN=paygwap. Check WAP connection (APN paygwap) with wsp:://orange.multimedia. Check Internet conection (APN payginternet) with http://www.modaco.com/mobile (what else) right. i've got 2 connections. this is exactly how mine is set up. for 'Internet Connection' i have a connection called 'Orange GPRS' Connects To = "The Internet" Access Point = "payginternet" User Name = Password = Primary DNS="158.43.192.1" Secondary DNS="158.43.128.1" IP Address= for 'WAP connection' i have a connection called Orange Wap Connects To = "The Internet" Access Point = "paygwap" User Name = Password = Primary DNS="0.0.0.0" Secondary DNS="0.0.0.0" IP Address= that's working for me...
