Im not taling of the draft, sent, outbox folders of the SAP. I was wondering if there is a way ?? to move ur msgs to an folder created by you If only this could be done, ill really appreciate my phone more !!! Guest dobby_gobby_man Posted November 27, 2003 Report Share Posted November 27, 2003 sa tingin ko wala.... hanggang doon lang.... sa inbox, draft, sent. outbox, at deleted msgs. yun lang ata ang pwedeng gawin sa SAP yung 6210, 8310 etc e yun talaga ang mga features nung phone. pwede mong ipersonalize yung mga messages kasi nakakapag store sya ng hundred+ na messages.... but try to contact other members in this room baka may masabi sila tungkol sa tanong mo ok???? :lol: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest d-coy Posted November 28, 2003 Report Share Posted November 28, 2003 @ marv you can use the application pzee mentioned "SMS Toolbox",8 can create folders wer u can assigned sms to the folders u hav created.... d problem is 8 s limited in just creating folders for ur sms....u cannot create sms and save 8 to those folders u hav created, for future use... although in the inbox there is an option to save or postpone 8 to drafts, but wen u use 8 to send the sms is erased and saved in the sent items...u cannot copy 8 and save 8 to ader folders... one more thing s dat wen u erase messages in the inbox and den u save 8 to a folder u have created in sms toolbox...the sms s deleted automatically....s der any ader way of managing and creating sms dat u can save for future use, not d draft option of the inbox!!! yun lng po!!! :roll: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

"What I did, I created folders/sub-folders on MS Outlook and then used MS ActiveSync. On MS AS, click Options (toolbar) > checked Inbox > Click on Settings > check the folders you want to appear on your SP." but im not sure this would work cause i havent tried it yet. Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted November 28, 2003 Report Share Posted November 28, 2003 @tebs kung nasa 'Deleted Items' folder mo pa, pwede mong i-Restore. cguro make it a habit to save the inbox database: cemail.vol including the contents of the MAPI folder. what i do is copy the files to my PC, then nilalagyan ko na lang ng date, halimbawa "Nov10 Nov16" folder name sa PC corresponding to the messages (SMS, MMS) received sa date range na yun. ibig sabihin, yung msgs mula Monday til Sunday na backup ko. then pag gusto kong basahin, i-lo-load ko lang ulit sa phone ko yung db. di na ko backup Inbox using SMS2Mail. di mo na yun mabalik sa phone eh, di mo na rin ma-view correctly so yung db na lang mismo i-backup mo. matrabaho nga lang pero effective. binabakup ko kasi lahat ng msgs ko. :lol: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest sonborj Posted November 28, 2003 Report Share Posted November 28, 2003 dcoy, QTEK rom has smileys. but if you want to stay with Smart ROm, then the trick is changing your regional setting to either Spanish or Danish then go to SMS , menu, options, predefined text, and save the smiley from the #8 keypad. then revert back to English regional setting.
