Honor announce the £225 Dual Camera 6X

At CES in Las Vegas, Honor have today announced their latest smartphone release for the UK, Europe and the US - the £225 Honor 6X. The 5.5", full HD handset packs dual 12 Megapixel / 2 Megapixel cameras, 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM, a fingerprint reader and the Kirin 655 processor - a small update to the critically acclaimed Kirin 650 previously featured in the surprisingly snappy Honor 5C.

The headline feature of the device is of course the dual cameras, with a 12 Megapixel main sensor (which we hear is rather good), a 2 Megapixel secondary sensor, sub 0.3 second Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), Deep Trench Isolation (DTI) for reduced noise in low light conditions, 6 part lens and Honor / Huawei's feature packed camera application (we'll confirm when we get our device, but we understand full Camera2 API support is included too).

Full specs are below, but partifcular highlights for me are the CPU, generous ROM and RAM capacities, NFC support for Android Pay, undoubted excellent battery life courtesy of EMUI optimisations and the 3,340mah cell, 2.5D glass and impressive, 450 nit full HD screen. Not bad at all at this price point, the main compromises being no 5GHz WiFi and microUSB (if that counts as a compromise!).

The device, available in grey, gold or silver will be available from tomorrow (4th January) from VMall, with a release from UK carrier partners 3 slated for the start of February.

A slight fly in the ointment is that the 6X will ship with Android Marshmallow with Nougat to follow in Q2 but at least given our experiences with other Honor devices, they are pretty good at delivering updates on time (or even earlier with Beta programmes).

In my opinion it is a very good smartphone for good price-quality ratio, if it is planned in Europe it is quite possible that it will become my next smartphone according to the test! But too bad that in this early 2017 Honor did not think of a USB plug Type-C

can someone tell me the benefit of two cameras. Its a useless feature i think. when one camera can do the same thing, then what's the use of second camera at same side.

Just a smile and the rain is gone Can hardly believe it, yeah. There's an angel standing next to me. Reaching for my heart Just a smile and there's no way back .Can hardly believe it, yeah But there's an angel calling me. Reaching for my heart I know that I'll be okay now. This time, it's real I lay my love on you It's all I wanna do Every time I breathe I feel brand new You open up my heart Show me all your love and walk right through As I lay my love on you. } dumb ways to die } fireboy and watergirl 4

I usually buy cellphones from LG or Samsung because I believe they are very good manufacturers and such and produce top notch phones however I need a new phone and recently I've been keeping my eye on the Huawei Ascend P1 which has really good specs and a good screen size for my hands. I was debating with my friend of Assignment help experts  whether or not to get this phone since I am a devotee to Samsung and LG because they are well developed brands. Is Huawei any good? Opinions and experience please should I get Huawei rather than a Samsung/LG phone?
