7 inch ZTE Tablet arrives in UK in February

Chinese manufacturer ZTE have had some success in Europe with their low cost Android handests, in fact so much so that the ZTE device forums here on MoDaCo are the most active on the site. Last month ZTE announced the release of the Light Tab 2 in Hong Kong, Spain and Indonesia. Now Clove Technology have opened pre-orders for the device with a launch price set at £234.99. They expect shipping to start next month.

The Light Tab 2 isn't the most advanced tablet out there, but for the price the specs are relatively decent -particularly with 3G as a standard feature:

Its surprising that ZTE went with Gingerbread rather than Honeycomb here, however it is unlikely to be long before our community release a Honeycomb ROM. You can find the stock ROM, rooting info and USB drivers on this thread.
