Developers: You can ALL now reply to Play Store comments

After testing with a limited number of Play Store developers, Google have switched on Play Store comment reply functionality for all developers.

The change is incredibly valuable - without this ability it has been impossible for developers to correct erroneous reviews or to provide extended support to a user experiencing problems.

So, if you have an app in the Play Store, head on over to your Developer Console to start engaging with your users! :)

I think I have noticed this already. A good developer, however, will be monitoring comments on his apps and encouraging users to email with problems.
