Archos 80 G9. I have one, amazing tablet! ICS update just a few days ago too, dual core, decent screen. £200.
Ainol Novo 7 advanced. Great dual core tab for around a £100
Ainol Novo7 Aurora

Gemei G9

Ainol Novo7 ELF

Teclast A15

would love to review some of them for Modaco.

Dear tilal6991. Ainol Novo 7 advanced Is not dual core!

Advent Vega,  a bit left behind now but it was great for us geeks with its Vegacomb ROM!!!!!
Really? Oh well I thought it was. Still a great tab for the price.!
Just checked the box. It says its a dual core a10 processor...
I'll second advent Vega, especially with new VegaICS beta1 rom. NOT great out of the box, but a definite contender once updated (easy to do), and LOTS of developer support online...

:)

Advent Vega - Tegra2, decent screen, ICS WIP, 3.2 stable.

the chinese tabs are coming up, the Ainol tablets mentioned above have great price/performance ratio.

tilal6991 never believechines boxes :)
it has 1 core for the CPU and one for the GPU in one chip. but its the same as a single core.
I have the first Advance and the ELF and they are grate toys and very cheap.

cool. Thanks for the info. I did think when I used it that it seemed slower than other dual core devices which I've used.
3RD the Vega here.... Also, Expansys are having a 50% off of all tablets sale
another vote for the archos 80 g9 great tab for the price
This if it ever makes it to release...;)

I'd 4th the vega if it was still widely available, mine got bust and I've struggled getting a new replacement.  It's a shame the scroll extreme hasnt made it to market yet as I think this could be a contender for this crown following the excels triumph on the gadget shows budget tests

everett_psycho
just so you know the scroll extreme is worse than the Gemei G9 !check it out on youtube The G9 already avaliable and comes with the latest ICS and has Market unlike the scroll extreme that is not even out yet...
HTC Flyer (I bought it for 229 € - which should classify for the below 200 GPD limit).

Pro
1 GHz CPU
1 GB RAM
Nice and luminous 7" screen with a solution of 1024 X 600
light weight (420g)
solid body

Con
Not really rootable :-(
ICS not to be seen yet

Conclusion
I really got to like this tablet and use it for almost everything now (at least for those things a tablet is intended for :-) - this is
Reading, watching movies, doing my email, facebook, google+, twitter ...
Oh - and I forgot: I tested almost every tablet below 200 €. This included Lenovo A1 7" Ideapad, Archos G9 7" and some no name products. All of them had something to it which I couldn't get around to really like them.
Well I'm just going to speak from experience and say I love my G9 80.

Faults aside it's a solid choice for the budget

I just bought the NATPC M009S, although i didn't try the other budget tablets mentioned, i think this one is a real contender.

CPU : A10 1.2 GHz<br style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">Graphics Processor : Mali 400 MHz<br style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">Touchscreen : 5 point multi touch capacitive resolution 800 x 480<br style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">Operating System : Android 2.3.4<br style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">Memory : 512mb DDR II / 8gb NAND Flash - upgradeable by Micro SD memory card (max 16GB)<br style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">WiFi : 802.11 b/g/n<br style="font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small; ">Connectivity : 1 x Micro SD slot, 1 x AC Jack, 1 x 3.5mm Earphone Jack, 1 x Mini USB, 1 x HDMI out

So far i am very happy with it...however could really use a custom rom to absolutely perfect it, as i know what a huge difference that can make.
Running my ZTE Skate with the CyanogenMod 7 and loving it! :)
HP Touchpad, running CM9 Alpha 2 ...... paid £130 for the 32gb version n its really something special
ArchosG9 80 Turbo with 1GB RAM and OMAP4 1.5 GHz dual core for £199 in 8GB version

The existing development community for the advent Vega and other p10an01 clones adds so much value to this old dog. The spec is still good value for money. The Vega gets my vote.
