Pulse, the popular news reader app, has just been updated. With this latest update there are now options to add Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube feeds to your reader lists.
As well as the usual bug fixes, the addition of these social networks to Pulse brings it more up to date and better positioned to compete with its competitor Flipboard. This social expansion of Pulse is testament to the fact that more and more people use social networks for news and reading discovery.
