T-Mobile UK launch 'Fully Monty' genuinely unlimited plans

T-Mobile UK have today announced their 'Full Monty' genuinely unlimited plans, launching 1st February.

The plans, including the UK’s first plan to offer unlimited calls, texts and internet (including tethering) have no fair use restrictions on internet, calls or text messages and are available on all handsets across the T-Mobile range. The new tariffs also offer unlimited access to BT Openzone WiFi hotspots.

The Full Monty plan is split into four price brackets as follows (all 24 month contracts):

  • £36 / month - Unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers, unlimited text messages, unlimited internet, 2,000 minutes of calls to other networks. Sample handsets:  iPhone 4S 16GB (£99 upfront fee), iPhone 4 8GB (free), Samsung Galaxy SII (free), HTC Sensation XE (free)
  • £41 / month - Unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers, unlimited text messages, unlimited internet, unlimited calls to other networks. Sample handsets: iPhone 4S 16GB (£29 upfront fee), BlackBerry 9900 (free)
  • £46 / month - Unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers, unlimited text messages, unlimited internet, unlimited calls to other networks. Sample handsets: iPhone 4S 16GB (free)
  • £61 / month - Unlimited calls to other T-Mobile customers, unlimited text messages, unlimited internet, unlimited calls to other networks. Sample handsets: iPhone 4S 32Gb (free), iPhone 4S 64GB (£29 upfront fee)
Of course, all customers get access to Orange's mobile signals via the 'Everything Everywhere' group, so it's a pretty great deal I think... your thoughts?

Further details will be available at the T-Mobile website.

i hate 24month contracts, so i guess this would be a no deal for me!! (but i am currently with tmob on an 18month contract tho)

careful with tmob's term of  "unlimited internet", it means you can "browse" the internet, and does not include downloading of apps from market

but here's a question: if i save a pic from a website via the browser to my phone, does that mean i have just  "downloaded" or i've just used part of the "unlimited internet (browsing)"? :-p
