I installed from https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B4huyVgvdssGOXdfTnpETkRBS1k/edit?usp=sharing but couldn't get pass the lock screen, this is a release version isn't it? maybe it needs more work. Is U8818 fully compatible with U8815?

See if this can help someone. It's for wifi but being open source I don't see what can stop a skillful programer from adding an option for 3G.
I can understand why some prefer network on when the phone is off, maybe they expect some mail or message but there should always be a choice.

So you're basically saying that it's only human to react to endless requests. I agree but so is for the users to continuously ask for things as if they were entitled to, they don't know better. What are you going to do, take your toys and go home?
Forums like this are not the best way to communicate between developers and users IMO.

This is a childish atitude, people who get into development on one platform or another do it for their own personal reasons not for the good of the masses. They are under no obligation if they decide to share their work and should disregard endless demands from whoever uses their work. Giving up something you do for your own pleasure or curiosity just because some 16 year old moron treats your work like a paid product is in nobody's interest.

Answering my own question for whoever might have problems with skype:

    For me version 17 worked.

Is anyone able to use Skype (stock or mod) video chat on R6? It worked for me once...

Didn't notice any lag (I'm not picky like others either ;-) and the battery is excellent meaning that as opposed to other roms I've tried, if the phone is asleep no battery drainage whatsoever with wi-fi data and gps on. Otherwise normal consumption mostly wi-fi. If I were to compare it to Dazzozo's R5 which I used I'd say the battery makes the only difference. Camera is also good and fast.

This is a very good rom, everything seems to work except that I have to try several times to mount it in Linux, same as Dazzozo's. Before this I had Stock+ which is also excellent and had no problem mounting it.

Maybe related to what Tractor is saying, there is a problem with paths which I encountered yesterday before upgrading to 5 while trying to change some icons, the app in question didn't complain but the new icons didn't apply. Today the same operation worked but I didn't touch Link2SD yet. There was some comment by Cyda I believe regarding the bad behavior of this phone (switching cards) and how to disable Link2SD, I think it would be wiser to just not install it if people are having this kind of problems.
And lastly, the strong points of this rom are simplicity and efficiency (battery, speed, reliability) why not go for a basic set of icons (B&W if you ask me) instead of the stock ones and no wallpaper as default, go all the way, be green :)
