  1. Update! Root problem solved, huge thanks to user Dejan990 over at XDA for finding a way to root it and to guys at Kingoapp for doing the actual work behind this. Just install the application, activate the debugging mode for usb and connect the phone to the pc.
  2. LG Optimus L7 II P710

Here's a way to root it after the LG updated it, huge thanks to user Dejan990 over at XDA for finding a way to root it and to guys at Kingoapp for doing the actual work behind this. Just install the application, activate the debugging mode for usb and connect the phone to the pc.
  3. Rebump. Managed to fix it somehow by using stock LG updater. Thankfully, before the brick I haven't updated my firmware and now it's updated and working. Unfortunately, the rooting exploit that framaroot uses and probably every fu**ing exploit out there was patched by LG in that update. So my question is, how do I root LG P710 with latest firmware. Also one sub-question, what difference is between firmwares from different countries and let's say V10A and V10B firmware? Anybody?
  4. Bumping the thread in need of serious help. I think this problem is way bigger than the incorrect media_profiles file. I tried to reflash the rom but I just get the image shown below. I was trying to reflash by following the tutorial from this thread which goes is pretty detailed. This is the page I got my KDZ from. Since the link for V10A is broken I used V10B. I used that one because I am from Croatia and I assumed the "CRO" part of the kdz name is short for Croatia. I was in emergency mode (yellow screen) and have installed pretty much any driver I found. Just one more quick question, my phone originally came with V10E, will using V10A or V10B superbrick it or something?
  5. Hello, I came here in a need of quick help. I have rooted Optimus L7 II and I tried editing media_profiles.xml After editing it and rebooting it got stuck on a LG boot animation. I can't get a logcat during boot but thankfully I have full rooted ADB access in stock recovery mode, Could any fellow L7 II owner give me his unmodified "media_profiles.xml" so I can replace it although I have a bad feeling that it's not causing the problem because I (think) I reverted all the changes in it before pushing it back with ADB. So someone with L7 II post their media profiles file or tell me how to get adb while booting so I can diagnose this problem myself. Reflashing kdz's is a LAST resort. This is the screenshot of some of the files in /system/etc and underlined one is the presumably correct media_profiles.xml that I pushed back using adb in hopes of fixing the bootloop. Could the different date be the problem?
  6. Post your homescreen

Nova launcher with tiny white icon pack and retro clock widget along with blackout cm10 theme. I have 2 more homescreens which contain rss reader, calendar, weather and so on...
  7. [DEV][ROM][1.11.] CyanogenMod 10 (Android 4.1.2)

Welp, it seems Im gonna have to pull out my sdcard everytime i want to transfer something big... About the volume skip function, that worked with any player on cm7 on my previous xperia mini so i thought it would work here too... Obviously I was wrong... No, I used "pimp my rom" only to try to fix the issue with the internet, it was there from the start but it seems that it helped a little although that could just be a placebo. I will reflash the rom when I come back home in order to be sure it's not my problem.
  8. [DEV][ROM][1.11.] CyanogenMod 10 (Android 4.1.2)

Mtp? God no, I mount the sdcard in android and it appears as a removable drive in my pc. It used to go around 10mb/s but now it goes up to 1mb/s i best case scenario. In the end, this might not be your problem so don't bother too much. I still haven't testes the sdcard without the phone in the equasion. Volume rocker I can confirm that it doesn't work with PlayerPro. Yes my screen is off and of course music is playing but ot still doesnt skip songs. That also is not much kf a problem, do you have any idea what could be causing these connectivity problems? I'd be very grateful to havea fully working internet. Pimp my rom improved the stability a bit but it's still bad.
  9. [DEV][ROM][1.11.] CyanogenMod 10 (Android 4.1.2)

Hello, everybody. I have been using this rom for quite a long time now and I have found three issues, advice or help would be nice.   First problem is SD Card r/w speeds. They're horrible even on class 10 card I own. Tried multiple fixes from xda, none helped. Second problem isn't really too much an issue but the function "use volume rocker to seek music" doesn't work. The third problem is much bigger and caused me a huge annoyance. WiFi seems to randomly break and disconnect only to connect after a solid 5s or more. Mobile data is even worse. It says that I'm connected to HSDPA although the speed is... non existent. Let's say, I'm at a bus stop, connected to HSDPA and I want to go to some webpage. The signal bar is full and everything seems fine. I open the browser, type the address and hit enter. Webpage should be loading by now but it isn't and the little data icon in statusbar shows no activity. Same thing with any internet reliant application. Is sometimes works right and sometimes just doesn't want to work at all, it's connected but it just doesn't open anything. When I switch to 2G networks, stability improves a little but the speed still remains really bad because... well it's 2G. Internet works correctly on stock. This is a wonderful rom that really improves the usability of the Blade 3 but this little "quirk" gets in the way every time I need to look something up on the web. Also, even GSM connection breaks from time to time (just started breaking recently) so I ask you, KonstaT, or anybody else who may know the solution, what do I do to fix this issue?   Thanks upfront.
  10. Adreno boost?

It's made for sony devices, of course it wouldn't work on ZTE Blade III.
