    Hi Fonz93,
    Sorry for the silly question...

Is there any way to select a differnt sound for the alarms / ringtone than the one proposed in the default menus?

In KitKat porting music allows setting the sound being played as tone and then it will be usable as alarm as well but I did not find such choice in CM 10.1

    Thanks,
    Domenico

Power consumption goes with the sqaure of frequency (f^2), so Romagnolo point is correct...

Hi Fonz93, Can I install the ROM using twrp (2.7.0.2) ?

All the zips (ROM +audio +gapps) in sequence during the same installation, after I have alraedy realized a full wipe via recovery, is it correct?

    Ciao Luca,
I am on SlimRom and I followed your post there. Thanks for your activities.
Is there any advantage to move to CarbonRom vs. SlimKat?

Can you please indicate the differences between Carbon 4.2.2 vs. SlimKat 4.4.4 (e.g. 8.0) on our Tile (Y300)

    Hi Guy, A silly question.

When I long press the Home button all the open application appear on the left....
Is there any button (way) to close them all at once and not one by one, like in the stock is?

    Thanks

    Hi,
Everytime I modify a picture with the usual tools, apply easy effects and save the image, I can't share using what's up because of a low memory error.
This is despite of the number of other applications open.
Is  it enough gallery+editor ( with the processing ram related) to prevent me to share media using what's up?

Do you have the same issue?
Is any clue to improve there (without changing the phone, of course)

Hi Guy, a simple and silly thing....
On the stock we had a really amazing tone for the notification , called "Champagne",  Is it possible to import it in some way in Slimkat? Is it Huawei proprietary?

    Hi,
Did anybody try a dirty flash of the 6.6. strarting from previous one 6.4?

Does it work , applying a simply clear dalvik cache before re-booting?

    Thank You Chil,
I believe it something related to the time it takes to reload the task to show the caller id... but i don't know, since I am not expert of android OS how to improve. Yes we could try avoid letting the system to go in deep sleep but Slim Kat is already hungry in power and I believe some strategy to reduce that also introduced the caller delay popup drawback. Which is the forum you suggest to post the question?  It is a pity becasue is really the only noticeable issue in a really really good ROM !

In the end the ROM comes with ring_delay set to 3000, and I did not chenge the min freq (196 I believe)... and I have the trouble....

I believe 100% of users have the same

The point is that the same slim kat ROM on a samsung S2 of a friend of mine does not suffer of any delay in displaying the image of the caller, so is our poor device porting to miss a fast path for the incoming call awareness?

Can we raise somehow the priority of the task? improve the time to exit from stand by by build prop editor?

Thank you Chil360 for a reply on that if possible.

    Ciao,
    D.

    Hi Guy,
    Thanks for th valuable effort.
Slim Kat porting is really a step ahead with respect to any stock modding

    The comparison does not hold.

The only annoying problem is that I don't have the number of the incoming call (and the picture) as soon as the phaone rings.

Yes... I have already reduced the call_ring_delay from 3k to 0, but I still observe 1-2s of delay in getting the name....and this is to me a not negiglible drawback.

    Any clue on that?

    Ciao,
    D.
