  1. HTC One 'Google Edition' for the US imminent

Personally I prefer hardware buttons, giving up display space to navigation buttons is just a waste. Sony already maintain AOKP builds for their handsets so right now they are the handset manufacturer I trust most to deliver updates.
  2. Some of this stuff http://www.theverge.com/2013/3/14/4102924/galaxy-s4-video-leak I guess a bigger battery too. Overall looks very much like an evolutionary device with nothing really worth upgrading for. I'm going to start getting my hopes up for a nexus 5 at Google IO, what do we think the chances are?
  3. I've not gone down this route myself but at this price there is the option of importing a chinese phone you should get at least 6577 and HD screen for that price, maybe 6599 if you wait a while.
  4. Who can tell me something about the Goophone S3?

Hi Barrios did you buy this phone, I see that they are $99 at fastcardtech at the moment, I'm really tempted to get one at that price. http://www.fastcardtech.com/goods-8110-Goophone-S3-Pro--MTK6577-Dual-Core-12Ghz-47-inch-IPS-HD-Screen-Android-404-Phone.html Do people think that it will really have a 720p display for that price, it seems too good to be true.
  5. I think I'll hang on to my desire for a little longer and see if a 32 GB version comes out. The only other phone that tempts me at the moment is the S3 or possibly the Newman N2 which looks pretty similar in spec. I suspect that other phone prces may fall in the coming weeks.
  6. Introducing the Samsung GALAXY Premier

Maybe the TI 4470, the same CPU as in the 8.9 Kindle HD. If this is correct that is a pretty competent chip. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_announced_the_i9260_galaxy_premier-news-5025.php
  7. Have Google changed mobile phone pricing forever?

There is also topcachback/quidco available for 3. I wonder if google have priced the new handset too agressively. There is no doubt that it's brilliant for consumers now (if you can live with 8/16GB) but might it cause some manufacturers to pull out of the android handset space and mean less choice in the future. Less choice might mean less innovation and higher prices later.
  8. Introducing the Samsung GALAXY Premier

You get an SD slot thrown in, I might be interested if it was priced near £200.
  9. Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 refresh official!

Extrapolating from their pricing model I'd happily hand over £350 for a 64gb model. It does seem that from the priving of the higher capacity models google is reluctant to let you store your data anywhere other than in their cloud. £70 more for annother 16GB on the 10 inch model is an absolute joke. Looking at the costs of storage £7 would be a more resonable figure.
  10. Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 refresh official!

I know :( For some with unlimited data plans or good access to wifi then perhaps the clod is the answer but I'd prefer to have my media locally for now. Plus £40 for an extra 8GB seems a bit steep.
  11. Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Nexus 7 refresh official!

The 8GB Nexus 4 looks good value, I'd bite thier hands off if it microsd but that's way too little storge for me. What happened to the runours of multiple Nexus devices, is this it or are there perhaps more goodies to come?
  12. CIDotW - Zopo ZP900 / H9500 Leader

You got me looking on Aliexpress, I really like the look of this S3 clone http://www.aliexpres.../648197258.html If the software is reasonably bug free and the screen is any good then it looks like a bargain, has anyone heard of bluebo before? Will modaco sponser me to write a review ;)
  13. It looks like you can do the same for music too if you sign up through an American proxy but has anyone tried getting their music back yet? When you download it is it still at the original bitrate/encoding?
  14. This german site was posted on another forum, hope it helps http://www.alternate.de/html/product/HANNspree/HANNSpad_16GB_25,7_%2810,1%29/810968/?
  15. I just noticed the announcement on twitter, thanks for the forum.
