  1. NO!!! I've tried both ways, but the way i've been continually doing it is by holding the power button, then selecting "Yes" that I want to switch off. Even tried ending the "Messages" process before each switch off in the "Running programs" section. I only have 0.65 Mb free in my phone storage. Programs space has 28 Mb free. The only thing I think may be using all the space is my pocket business contact manager. which I need... but i don't need 750 text messages. I've no pictures or videos on the phone, apart from the orange ones you can't delete. I'm Stumped.
  2. Strange one here... i've been getting a "Storage memory low" message for a while, so went to delete some of my 750 text messages in inbox and sent items... but no matter what I do, every time i switch the phone off and back on again, they all re-appear. The only way I can do it is by deleting two, switching the phone off and then back on, then deleteing these two from the "Deleted items" folder and then switching it off and on again.... Gonna take some time to get rid of 750 odd messages. Any ideas? Similar thing happens with outlook email messages (Sync'd with exchange) If I delete more than two, then sync with active sync, switch off and back on again, they re-appear.

  4. I have Vista Business x64 with Mobile device center 6.1, and an SPV M3100. Last successful sync was on the 22nd, and now no matter what I do, reboot my pc, re-start the spv, turn it off and back on, it still will not sync. The WM5 actrive sync attempts to sychronise when I first connect, but the PC does nothing except charge the device. Any ideas?
  5. Hi. I currently have an SPV M3100 with BCM installed and it works fine with My XP Pro/Office 2007/Outlook 2007 with BCM. I am upgrading to Vista Business x64 and was wondering whether to migrate my Data to this machine, but need to know that my WM5 device will sync perfectly with vista and outlook 2007 BCM. Anyone know? Thanks in advance.
  6. I use a lot of remote desktop servers and workstations.. but one thing that lets me down is the resolution of my Pocket PC... M3100... whenever I connect to a remote desktop using terminal services, it shoves the resolutions down to either 640 x480 or 800 x 600 or whatever it is... clearly useless on a remote device that usually uses 1280 x 1024... meaning I can't see anything, and have to spend ages trying to resize stuff, like my outlook windows or server windows just to get to what I want. Now, I'm not moaning about the physical resolution of my PPC, but surely, there is a scroll bar on both the horizontal and vertical, so why can't it run at a workspace of 1280 x 1024 or whatever size the remote server is set to, and then scroll along to the areas of the screen as and when I want to... ??? Surely there must be a better option. I know there are certain other programs out there that work but as I use a LOT of remote desktops, I can't go installing another Virtual PC type service on each Server. I even used a remote desktop program on a Nokia N70 that allowed me to acces an entire workspace of 1280 x 1024. Any ideas?
  7. locking keypad on M3100

Yeah, I guess that is exactly what I want... but can't get that option up unless I turn the "Orange" Screen off... Orange seem to HOG the today screen and don't allow anything else on with their Orange screen. Any other suggestions?
  8. Anyone know how you can lock the keys on a M3100? Basically, I always turn off the screen, but it has a habit of powering up when messages are recieved, and even when it loses a signal. all I want is to lock the keys so that when it does power up, for whatever reason, keys can't be accidentally pressed... another use wouldbe when playing music in media player, you can't turn the device off and carry on playing tunes, so whilst on the tube, with the thing in your pocket, it's useless, as buttons easily get pressed.
  9. Own Exchange server, can't quite tell where the fault is yet. Also, I can't find where to enable sent items to sync with exchange.???
  10. My WM5 (SPV M3100) SOMETIMES sends email, but sometimes DOESN'T. I have it set up with an exchange server, and everything seems to send ok, and EVERYTHING appears in the "Sent items" folder ON THE SERVER, but NOTHING appears in my WM5 Sent Items. Have tried over and over to my home email address, and tried a few others, of which about 50% of them go through, but some don't even reach the destination even though the items appear as sent in my exchange sent folder. so, 1: Any idea why some aren't getting sent? and 2: Any idea why nothing appears in my WM5 sent items folder.
