  1. I had the exact same problem and spent days trying to sort it out without success. I finally decided that as I normally bill at £300 per hour it would be cheaper to go to halfords and buy a dedicated unit. Bought a top of the range garmin and haven't looked back (although it seems keener to drive down tiny unclassified roads than the tomtom).

    i600 and t-mobile

Any chance you could be specific for the settings (other than your pop3 username and password). I can't seem to get any of it to work. Cheers.
  3. See my other post about Samsungs reply. Has anyone got a dust free i600, it's easy to imagine that everyone is in the same boat? I found this on a website in singapore http://asia.cnet.com/howto/askcnetasia/0,3...62011289,00.htm Slightly better than the UK put up or shut up!

    i600 and t-mobile

I've got a very straightforward address mail.ms3.info but it kept saying something along the lines of rejected by the host server, even though the internet connections were working fine. All a bit odd. Then to cap it all someone at t-mobile said it wouldnt work because the phone wasn't being sold by them and therefore not on the system, sounded like bull$hit but then its a funny old world. I'll have another go tomorrow. Any advice on settings would be appreciated. Cheers.

    The dreaded DUST!!

Thank you for contacting Samsung Electronics. [solution] Ref: 2101906738 In response to your email, dust under the screen is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty provided by Samsung and as such we could not offer you a free of charge repair. Also, the email service is provided by your network and we cannot provide settings to allow you to use email through T-Mobile if they have not got the service activated. Also, there are no updates currently available for the firmware of the i600. If you are not happy with the phone, my recommendation would be to take it back to your retailler andask about a returns policy as it is within 14 days of your purchase. ------------------------------------------------------------ I hopethis has been of some assistance to you. If you do have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us. i600 and t-mobile

Has anyone managed this? I can't do it and t-mobile says it's impossible.
  7. I've a 5 day old sgh-i600 which is already developing dust. I wrote to Samsung regarding this, some of the software bugs and e-mail on t-mobile (which I can't get to work). This was their response... Thank you for contacting Samsung Electronics.
