  1. Bargain Watch: Huawei Y300 from £59.95

Gone one myself - lovely phone
  2. I have a European 512MB Orange San Francisco which was Gen 1 when I bought it up then upgraded it to Gen 2, so I'm not sure which ROM's I can and can't install without bricking my phone I used Blade Checker App and it says European Blade (512MB RAM) Detected TPT Upgraded Gen 2 Phone Detected Use Gen 1 Style TPTs System: 160MB Data: 294MB Cache 2MB However Mr PigFish says You Have a Gen2 model (sold with Android 2.2) So I'm not really sure what I should be using Gen1 or Gen 2 ROMs?
  3. Is this ROM for ZTE Blade Generation 1 or 2? I have a European 512MB Orange San Francisco which was Gen 1 when I bought it up then upgraded it to Gen 2, so I'm not sure which ROM's I can and can't install without bricking my phone I used Blade Checker App and it says European Blade (512MB RAM) Detected TPT Upgraded Gen 2 Phone Detected Use Gen 1 Style TPTs System: 160MB Data: 294MB Cache 2MB
  4. Netflix on ZTE Blade

I have the same Phone and the same problem -I'm running Cyanogen Mod I also have a second Generation iPod Touch which has a quarter of the RAM and a 20% slower CPU and yet that plays NetFlix perfectly? I'd sure like to know why my iPod can play NetFlix so well and my phone which is much more powerful struggles?
  5. I can't get this to work - doesn't seem to be able to see the USB Drive? I've tried running this both from C Drive and F Drive (The Memory Card itself - when plugged into a USB Reader) F:\VegaFixer>tools\nvflash.exe --bct tools\H5PS1G83EFR-S6C_V24_0625.bct --setbct --bl tools\bootloader.bin --configfile tools\flash.cfg --odmdata 0x0b0c0075 --c reate --go Nvflash started USB device not foundPress enter to continue:
  6. Tried resetting now blank (lit up) screen

I'm getting the same problem. I used my Windows 7 PC and USB Cable to upgrade my Advent Vega to ModdeStockV2 by putting it into recovery mode. All seemed well - The Vega started up fine the first time and I was able to go into Recovery Mode and also make a backup of the unit. I managed to reboot from recovery with no problems. All I did next was power down the device from the Android operating system in the normal way an a few minutes later tried to power it back on and all I get now is a backlit screen that is all Black. I have tried holding down power button for 1 minute as suggested - How did the original person fix their problem? What do you guys suggest doing next?
  7. Disappearing Credit on Giff Gaff

Thanks, I'll try it .. but I did reset my phone totally last night andonly install trusted apps and my balance went down again by 16p
  8. For last few days my credit on Giff Gaff has been going down without me making any phone calls or SMS - Data is supposed to be free on Giff Gaff until end of June 2011 All customer support could tell me was I was being charged for both calls and SMS to 443300673838 I have no idea what number this is - it's not even a proper mobile phone number .. any ideas? I think I might have some Apps I downloaded on my Android Phone making calls to this number.
  9. Do you have one of the newer T-Mobile Pulse Mini Pink phones from the UK? So far I have rooted my phone using z4root and have installed the latest free version of ROM Manager from the Android Market. Version 4.0.0.6 https://market.android.com/details?id=com.k...nager&hl=en My battery is only half charged so I'm charging it now before attempting a ROM update I'm not sure what my next step should be - ... ROM Manager tells me I need to install Clock Work Recovery and gives me the option to download Huawei pulse mini is this what you did, or did you do something else? Just to be clear all I've done so far is root my phone and install ROM Manager - not added Clockwork MOD Yet .. should I use the version ROM Manager gives me or should I use the older version given on this thread Clockwork Recovery 1.8.1.4 ? As this thread is almost 1 year old I wasn't sure what is the latest and best advice.
  10. That Pinned Post is almost 1 year old and it's not every clear at all what it's trying to tell me. All I see is posts that follow on from it saying what problems people have and things didn't work and they went for an older version of this and that. Since the t-Mobile Pulse Mini went on sale a few weeks back for just £20 I'm sure there will be a batch of new queries from people that might have a phone with a newer T-Mobile ROM? or maybe something else that is different? I don't know, but I do know that pinned post is not easy to follow and is very worrying when it has people saying x, y and z didn't work.
  11. I just got a T-Mobile Pulse Mini Pink and I've managed to root it The main thing I want to do with this phone is make it faster and either unlock it or install a ROM or other application that stops the phone checking for a T-Mobile SIM Card and just lets me use any SIM Card I want in it. I've searched in the forums and seen almost no mention of installing ROM Manager and Clockwork Recovery for this model of phone. I only found mention of it on a totally different forum where two guys said their phones didn't work right after installing Clockwork Recovery for this phone - anyone installed it?
  12. Join Everything Everwhere

    is 3G sharing now working?
  13. desperate need of help !

Did they repair it? Not a lot can be done if it lost power due to you not putting the back cover on during the install and allowing the battery to fall out.
  14. warning to anyone buying on tmob PAYG

Same here as well get charged £1 but go that refunded and also had the 6 month internet added - but I messaged them online and they called me back within 3 minutes, so never paid fo rthe call - excellent customer service experience both times though
  15. Just installed the lite version on my 1st Generation Orange SF - works well so far - I really like the circle Battery Status with the percentage number in the middle Only had it running a few hours so can't say if battery is better then the last version of Jelly Fish. But well done to the creator . :D Is it a good idea to totally wipe my battery stats since this is a new ROM?
