  1. If the phone is on charge in the car with a Sat Nav app running would we expect to see a positive charge at the end of the trip? A very hot phone? On my Nexus 6 with a 2A charger I tend to find myself at a tiny increase when I get out of the car.
  2. In Tasker when entering the Bluetooth MAC, hitting the search icon should bring up a list of devices.
  3. Looking at the Three website I'm still seeing restrictions (http://www.three.co.uk/ThreePortal/Satellite?blobcol=urldata&blobheader=application%2Fpdf&blobkey=id&blobnocache=false&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1223584474488&ssbinary=true pg28). Which is a shame because the 1p/MB on the 3-2-1 would be perfect.
  4. It's a shame because they were the only service to offer non-time limited mifi data. I'd be happy to pay £15/gb as long as it lasted for a year. My mifi fills the gaps where Vodafone's 3g coverage is poor (my commute is through the countryside) and Three appear to have filled it. But I'm not paying £15 to find out it's gone before I needed to use it.
  5. Would an xposed module be able to get around the device and root restrictions for this and the other Sky Apps? I would happily give them the £5 a month for the Sky Sports app on my GS3, but I'm not loosing root to do it.
  6. Does anyone know if any of the Sky TV apps work on a stock Nook HD+? Was tempted to get the Sky Sports app for the next football season, but it appears it won't run on my rooted GS3.
  7. You most likely hit the business tab (or searched for something which resulted in the subsection) which don't need to quote the VAT.
  8. Just wondering, but if you had an app watching for a TEL: intent, possibly with a warning if it was a USSD command which then said do you wish to continue be possible?
  9. assuming you changed your recovery when rooting the OTA will fail the certificate check.
  10. Was about to create a custom rom when the LFB ota came out. Now patiently waiting for it to be the base rom before cooking.
  11. It would be Wifi only. Used for web browsing, playing mp3s and mp4s (possibly xvid/divx), youtube and games. As my young daughter would be allowed to handled it (rather this than the GS2 and iPhone4) just need to make sure 999 can't be called. Samsung sell a phoneless Galaxy, but I could get the G300 for a lot less.
  12. Tempted to pick one of these up as an Android "Touch" device to have around the house, but I need to ensure that no calls could be made. Whilst a dead SIM and flight mode should help, in the past I've found this can still leave you with Emergency Calls, and I'm not too keen on my daughter calling that. Once rooted is there anything which could be deleted or frozen to stop calls without causing a bootloop?
  13. A system issue resulted in early orders having no stock allocated to them. Everyone should have had an email informing that there orders have been canceled and to place a new one if you still want the phone.
  14. SamFirmware hearing early 2012 from insiders.
  15. at GoogleIO the manufacturers and networks signed up to a two year upgrade program (where hardware supports it) so the GSII has no reason not to get it, however expects a delay to help sales for the Nexus.
