  1. [ROM] Azure

0.5 released. Google Apps in 0.5 don't include Maps any more. So if you upgrade, re-install Maps (from Market) or else the "Downloads" page will be broken. You can then uninstall Maps withouth any further problems. This of course doesn't apply if you wipe prior to flashing.
  2. [ROM] Azure

0.3 on the servers. Give it a try.
  3. [ROM] Azure

Here we go. 0.2 is online. I'm not sure about the localisation problems but the other issues should be fixed. At least for me Market is working perfectly now.
  4. [ROM] Azure

Changelog: 1.0Updated libhtc_ril.so, tiwlan_drv.ko, sdio.ko to 2.06 (5f084974). Removed Amazon MP3 from Google Apps. It's a market app. Fixed crash of DSPManager. Fixed crash of ADW.Launcher when tapping dots. Fixed USB-tethering. 0.6Built with armv5te-vfp and armeabi-v6l. This will likely not improve performance in gpu-benchmarks. Added experimental property "windowsmgr.max_events_per_sec=60". Experimental. Updated proprietary files to 2.05 (bluetooth, wpa_supplicant, wlan drivers). Added ramzswap.ko (for compcache). 0.5Tweaked lightsensor a bit. Updated sensor levels in kernel too. Got the idea from jonasl's commit. Updated boot.img to correctly set permissions for Torch.apk. Added "owner" target for netfilter. Updated Google Apps to 20100814-tiny. Reverted CM change that set notification light on for every notification. 0.4Updated to RC3 sources. Updated Google Apps to 20100814-tiny. Fixed built in thethering (somehow a define got missing). Added tun.ko module. Built in LZO compression (for those who want to try compcache). 0.3 Lights settings moved to "Display" ("Audio" is definitely the wrong place). Localisation fixed. Updated VoiceSearch and QuickSearchBox due to popular demand. [*]0.2 [*]Fixed dhcpcd not running hooks. [*]Added light-settings (you already know them from Indigo Bean). [*]Fixed Market not displaying all apps (at least for me). [*]0.1 Initial release Known issues: [*]... Won't fix: [*]No FM radio application. [*]Search for carriers broken. [*]Wireless hotspot not included. Will not work due to the WLAN driver not supporting it.
  5. [ROM] Azure

Azure Description: This is a ROM using the famous CyanogenMod sources, version 6 (=Android 2.2 "Froyo"). It has quite unique features compared to other ROMs: Setting to blink the (green) notification light Charging light (amber) if there are no notifications (also a setting) Download: I've written a small web-application that allows you to keep track of my releases. You can download ROMs and Add-ons there, as well as see some fancy statistics. Check it out: http://derhofbauer.at/android/ Setup: The recommended (easiest) method to download and install Azure is via ROM-Manager (which can be found in the Market). You can also use the QR-codes from my website. Sources on GitHub: http://github.com/aleho Credits: Thanks go out to kyosa (touchscreen patches) and of course Cyanogen, the whole CM team and Koush for their great work! Beer / Coffee:
  6. [ROM] Indigo Bean

Changelog: 1.0Included bluetooth fix. Nothing new apart from that. Decided to bump version to 1.0. 0.6New setting to turn on amber light while loading Using native libhardware_legacy.so (updated init.legend.rc, boot.img) 0.5Some bug-fixes (amber LED should really be working now) Odexed system/app (will give you enough free space in /cache to install even big apps) 0.4 "Come on baby light my fire..."Patched LED handling (green steady/blinking for notifications, amber for low battery) Support for ROM-Manager (now that fake-flash is fixed for the Legend) Protected apps should be visible in Market now Removed Google apps (installable as add-on) [*]0.3 "S5K4E1GX is a beast" [*]5MP pictures [*]Odexed app/framework [*]0.2 "Fixing Bugs is pure Joy" [*]Fixed sync problems [*]Custom boot.img (ramdisk) [*]Moved some apps to /data/app (for easier removal) [*]0.1 Initial release Known issues: [*]Camera needs a lot of tweaking (no zoom, image sizes hard-coded) [*]Search for carriers broken

  8. no more updates on the Legend from Paul?

Whether lampux intended that or not: His post is quite an incentive for me. But of course I'm not able to port Froyo to the Legend right now. I was not even able to compile it yesterday (some webcore/webkit problems). And hardware won't work most likely anyway. At the moment I'm trying to refresh all the HTC patches for 2.6.29 to work on 2.6.32. Not an easy task given the fact that parts of it were adopted into the ARM-tree and others rejected. Besides that I'm also setting up and compiling CyanogenMod for the Legend (compilation finished a few minutes ago, now on to the testing). Be prepared to see CM for Legend tomorrow or the day after, if everything goes well.
  9. [ROM] Vanilla Bean

I've read elsewhere, that you have to complete the sign in process the first time or it probably won't work later. The solution reported to work is to reset factory defaults and try again. Never had that problem myself though.
  10. no more updates on the Legend from Paul?

Lampux, I'm probably not the first one to tell you, but let me put it bluntly: You are an idiot. There is no reason for you to be sarcastic and you have no right whatsoever to demand anything from anyone in this community. People like you make life harder and take the fun out of everything. I started porting Froyo to the Legend today but because of you I'm going to reconsider. I don't need it on my Legend (2.1 runs pretty well) and doing all that hard work for ignorant morons of your kind is just not what I'm up to. No, really, I hate the idea of someone like you profiting from the fruits of my labour.
  11. [ROM] Vanilla Bean

I hate to say this, but as far as I know you are the first one having these problems. Especially the issue with the home-button is too strange to be true. I only have one advise: Do a full wipe (backup first) and reinstall Vanilla Bean. If that doesn't help I can't do anything else for you.
  12. [ROM] Vanilla Bean

Changelog: 0.3.1Integrated Google framework correctly 0.3Proprietary files/kernel entirely based on 2.03.405 Vanilla bin/bootanimation Tweaked ALS values "News and Weather"-widget More app icons from hdpi-ressources (resized to 48x48) Added Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian, Portuguese and Czech locales 0.2.1 "update-script = epic fail"Fixed error in update script (wrong permissions) [*]0.2 [*]Replaced nearly all libs with their AOSP equivalent (highly experimental) [*]Fixed SD mass storage mode [*]Fixed Music.apk [*]Added Superuser.apk [*]Added YouTube.apk (to data/app) [*]0.1 "In ya face, HTC!" Initial release Known issues: [*]YouTube broken; does't play videos [*]Camera needs a lot of tweaking (resolution, zoom) [*]Search for carriers broken [*]No devices to test Bluetooth; reportedly broken
  13. [ROM] Vanilla Bean

Vanilla Bean Notice: I'm not going to develop this ROM any more. Compared to the AOSP sources Indigo Bean (CyanogenMod) offers more features out of the box and makes my life and yours a lot easier.
  14. [ROM] Stripped Senseless v1.1

Well, in fact I'm not using the boot.img generated but the one that comes with the updates from HTC. Kernel is not a problem at all, because HTC released the sources. If you want to compile it yourself, get them from "http://developer.htc.com/", but do a "adb pull /proc/config.gz" before, to get the actual kernel config (which is, unpacked, to be renamed into .config and put in the kernel directory). But as I said, I don't think the kernel is a problem, I'd rather say it's the graphics stack somewhere, because of that egl error. Unfortunately I can't seem to get help, IRC's pretty dead, so we are on our own here. Let's see what we can do, I'm quite positive we will achieve something. If you need help getting Linux to run feel free to ask me, I've been using it for years now.
  15. [ROM] Stripped Senseless v1.1

Well, I'm going a step farther, as I'm trying to port complete stock Android to the Legend. It's already running on my Legend, but you'd probably not like it, given the fact that the touchscreen doesn't work and EGL seems to have serious problems too. ;)
