  1. Reset to standard

Thanks for your reply, so that will reset the lag fix as well?
  2. Reset to standard

My SGS is currently running JG5 and Mimocan's lag fix, I'd like to have a play with some of the new ROMs and lagfixes that are around and wondered is there a simple way I can completely put my phone back to standard or do I need to use ADB again to remove the lag fix?
  3. Is lag unique to Galaxy S? Maybe not...

While some people are just picky, I don't believe that is the case with the Samsung. I came from an HTC Desire which had no similar problems, the Galaxy S was useless straight out of the box, and if I hadn't have found the lag fix on here I would have sent it back. Now the phone is fine, and I don't have any problems. To be completely honest, if there was a way to get rid of the Samsung rubbish and just put stock android 2.1/2.2 on it that's the way I'd go.
  4. Just did the same and got a filesystem score of 218 - what would a totally standard galaxy s get?
  5. Sandisk 16Gb class 2 working fine
  6. Oh yeah I'm not expecting anything anytime soon either. Don't mind if it removed the link, just don't want it to mess the phone up - you're right, probably best to reverse the changes before the update goes through.
  7. One thing I was thinking of today, when Samsung finally roll out the 2.2 update, will I need to undo everything that's been done before updating? Or will the update automatically just reset everything and not cause any damage to the phone?
  8. Ok just did the whole thing again and it worked perfectly, the phone is literally flying now. Had no idea it would be this fast! Benchmark score has come in at 1743 - obviously don't care too much about that, the speed during normal use is just incredible. Thanks so much for this, the lagging was starting to really annoy me, now it's just perfect
  9. I'm still getting around that mark, so mine's definitely not worked then? What can I do now, start the whole process again?
  10. Finally got this to work, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. Not entirely sure how to check where all the data is sitting, but did the benchmark test and getting the same score as before. Can I just run through the whole process again, or do I need to undo it before I can do it again?
  11. Thanks, unfortunately still get the same "permission denied" error.
  12. Yep, I get this far and then get the error - The problem seems to be with the next line: C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>adb shell $ su - su - busybox cp -rp/Permission denied $
  13. My phone's rooted, and I have busybox installed. Is there something I need to do on my PC?
  14. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix the "permission denied" I'm getting when I try and input the commands?
  15. I seem to have made a little progress now, installed busybox (thanks!) but getting a similar error to others on here: C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>adb shell $ su - su - busybox cp -rp/Permission denied $ What am I doing wrong?
